About Me
Hi, everyone, I’m Dave Diaz. I live in the U.S. state of Colorado with my wife, Ashley. We love to spend our free time in the mountains, where you’ll likely find us skiing, hiking, biking, or climbing.
Professionally, I'm a retired EMT-Paramedic, who transitioned into web development about 15 years ago. While I already work as a full-stack developer, my skills and experience are limited to only the LAMP-stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
I'm taking this MERN-stack course to expand my skill set and to add some new tools to my toolbox. I always find it rewarding to learn new technologies and methods, so I'm very excited to be enrolled in this course, and I’m looking forward to the next two phases.
